Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship within 24 hours. Standard delivery is estimated at 5 to 7 business days. We email tracking information when your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within the Spain only. International shipping is on our roadmap. Sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when it launches.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is €5.95 for orders under €45. Standard shipping is free on orders of €45 or more.
The Lamps
Are ilux lamps cordless or plug-in?
Both, and some are hardwired. Our rechargeable lamps run on internal batteries and charge over USB-C, so you can place them anywhere without thinking about outlets. Our paper lantern series and select designer pieces are plug-in or USB-powered. Our stone pendants are hardwired ceiling fixtures. Each product page lists how that piece is powered.
Do the pendants need an electrician?
The stone pendants are hardwired ceiling fixtures and replace an existing light fitting. If you are comfortable replacing a ceiling light you can fit one yourself; otherwise we recommend an electrician. They do not plug into a wall outlet.
How long does the battery last on a single charge?
Run time varies by model and brightness setting. You'll find specific battery life listed on each product page.
Are the lamps dimmable?
Yes. Every lamp offers multiple brightness settings. Most are controlled by touch; see the product page for details.
What kind of light do they give off?
ilux lamps use LED light sources. Color temperature, brightness levels, and dimming behavior vary by model. See the individual product page for specifications.
Is every stone shade the same?
No. Travertine and alabaster are cut from natural blocks, so the banding, colour and pitting differ on every piece. Two pendants of the same model will not match exactly.
Are they safe to leave on overnight?
Follow the product instructions and do not leave rechargeable lamps unattended while charging. For overnight use, keep the lamp on a stable, dry surface away from fabrics.
Can I use them outside?
Use a lamp outdoors only if its product page explicitly lists a suitable rating. Keep lamps away from direct rain unless the product page specifically states otherwise.
Will the bulbs ever need replacing?
On most ilux lamps the LED is built in and rated for tens of thousands of hours, so there is nothing to replace. A few designer pieces use standard replaceable bulbs, noted on the product page.
Do they come with a charging cable?
Included accessories and power requirements are listed on each product page. Use the supplied cable and a compatible charger.
Where do ilux lamps come from?
ilux selects each lamp for its design, function, and fit within the collection. We select each lamp for its design, function, and fit within the collection, then work with manufacturing partners to produce and fulfill it.
Who fulfills my order?
Orders ship within 24 hours and may leave from our partner facilities with full tracking.
Orders & Returns
What is your return policy?
We offer a 60-day return window from the date of delivery. If you're not satisfied for any reason, email us at hello@ilux and we'll arrange a return. Items must be in original condition.
My lamp arrived damaged. What do I do?
Email us at hello@ilux with your order number and photos within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you and provide instructions.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled or modified within 2 hours of placement. Email hello@ilux right away if you need to make a change.
Do you offer a warranty?
Every ilux lamp is covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong, email hello@ilux and we'll make it right.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Not at this time. All lamps ship in their original packaging.
Care
How do I clean my ilux lamp?
Wipe the body with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid cleaning sprays, solvents, and abrasive materials. If your lamp has a detachable shade or globe, lift it off the stem before wiping it down.
How do I clean a stone shade?
Dust it dry, or wipe with a barely damp cloth. Travertine and alabaster are porous, so keep them away from solvents, acidic cleaners and standing water.
How should I store it long term?
Charge the battery fully before long-term storage, and top it up every few months. Keep the lamp upright in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
The battery seems to drain faster than it used to. What can I do?
Lithium batteries lose capacity over time. To extend battery life, avoid letting the lamp run completely empty before recharging, and store it partially charged when not in use.
